muriel fagnoni and julia gai, creators of quand les fleurs nous sauvent have decided to support the work of manon gignoux laureate 2020 of the contemporary drawing prize of the beaux arts de paris, as well as other selected artists in this edition, lina benzerti, marine bikard, fabienne gillmann, alžběta wolfova , following the impossibility of holding the exhibition during the awarding of this prize for health reasons.

this prize, created in 2013 and awarded by the association the cabinet of art lovers of paris , rewards a laureate for his drawn work, among students or young graduates of the school.

for the 2020 edition, six women artists are thus selected, deploying diverse universes and graphic practices. however, whether it is manon gignoux with her floral frescoes, and lina benzerti with her cyanotype herbaria, produced at the ministry of culture as part of the camus project, fabienne gillmann and marine bikard with their vibrant trees, their works are all crossed of a floral and vegetal tropism, when it is not naturalistic, as in the ornithological drawings of alžběta wolfova.

as such, these graphic works bear witness to the importance of the theme of the link with nature maintained by contemporary artists; thematic exacerbated by a spring of 2020 which intensified in everyone the need for rapprochement, understanding, and intimacy with the plant world.

the visits will take place in full compliance with the sanitary measures in force on the date of the opening, and in any case, a mask and hydro-alcoholic gel will be compulsory at the entrance.
