at the start, there is this mad love for flowers, and this evidence that the world needs beauty, art. like academician françois cheng, we believe that "a simple flower is a miracle".

quand les fleurs nous sauvent was born in early 2019 from our bet to share our passions by investing in ephemeral places dedicated to art x flowers.

 

along a path off the beaten track, we select artists and works that touch us, and that lead our visitors through eras and across borders on all continents.

 

our emotions are pictorial, photographic, textile or porcelain, as long as the flowers bloom there as they please.  

 

works by many contemporary artists therefore rub shoulders with old flowers that are far from faded. the flower is a subject, but also a material. the flower is decorative, but also militant, it is delicate but of an indestructible symbolism.

 

through this journey to the heart of one of the most inspiring artistic themes in history, the evidence of the subject's essentiality became more intense and more embodied at each event. because our history is above all a history of beautiful encounters, first with works of art, and then and above all, with the beautiful people who are at the origin of them.

relationships with artists, as with buyers, are essential for us. we like to bond, discover and understand. the love of art is above all a love of the human being.

in order to explore this immense subject that is the flower, we wish to approach it through new angles at each event, and this within an increasingly dense program in the years to come.

 

we choose to invest in different places at each event in order to renew the experience, but also in order to benefit from large spaces more able to serve as a backdrop for our purpose.

 

our desire, through the plurality of works and artists presented (emerging or more experienced) is to offer the opportunity to young collectors to start, to occasional amateurs to have fun, and to more confirmed collectors to complete their collection, prices ranging between € 170 and over € 10,000.

and then because we believe that galleries should be the liveliest and most visited places there are (it would be good if the kids popped in them when they come home from school, no  ?), we offer you to live, at the very heart of the exhibitions, experiences related to the works presented ... a brunch based on edible flowers, conferences on art x flowers, yoga classes to experiment with mudra of the lotus flower and meditate in front of a work ...

 

Finally, for the miracle of a flower is not the sole prerogative of art lovers, we created early 2020 quand les fleurs nous sauvent_l'association, whose purpose is to put flowers in life of those who do not have access to it, and financed by a systematic percentage of our sales in galleries (first distribution on the occasion of mother's day in partnership with the restaurants of the heart of asnières).
