quand les fleurs nous sauvent offers a unique floral conversation between two artists, one photographer - jean-pierre sudre - the other florist - debeaulieu. the images of the undisputed master of still life who devoted himself, for nearly fifty years, to giving thanks to what he preferred to call "silent lives", resonate with bouquets from the most renowned contemporary florist, designed as sculptures capable of crossing time.

during the exhibition, the unique prints of jean-pierre sudre - including some iconic "m+v", from his series combining plants with his "materialography" techniques - as well as the bouquets created specifically by pierre banchereau aka debeaulieu .

this mute conversation between two great experimenters - the flowers lying on the photographer's paper or those fixed in the florist's vases - give us to feel, like so many "immarcescible natures", which neither fade nor wither. a reflection on the ephemeral of the flower, of the plant, frozen for eternity.
